Here are some upcoming concerts in Bangalore:

Natyarani Shanthala

This is a dance drama presentation in Kannada. It is set to be showcased on Sunday,  16th July 2017. It will be held from 4 pm to 5.30 pm. Venue is ARTitudeStudio, Jayanagar, Bangaluru. Entry ticket costs  Rs. 100. The location of the venue is  #26, 5th Cross, 7th Block West, Jayanagar, K. R Road, Bangalore – 560070.

This Kannada dance drama is based on the life of the dancer queen of Hoysala named Shantala Devi.

The Grunge Experience

This concert will be held on Sunday, 16th July 2017 at 6.00 pm. This concert is being organized by MAGMA studio at Blue FROG, Central Bangalore. The location is No. 3, Church St, Beside Matteo Coffee Shop, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560001.

MAGMA studios in collaboration with Abhinaba Basak and Blue FROG, Bangalore is presenting the GRUNGE experience, all the way from Seattle. It is a tribute gig  to the kings of grunge- Chris Cornell, Layne  Stayley and Kurt Cobain. This convert will transport you back to the 1990’s with five amazing bands:

  • Ledge 13
  • Raven Black
  • Jonah’s Legacy
  • Baking Signal
  • 1Fret Away

Zeliangrong Bangalore Foundation Day And Fresher’s Meet Cum Cultural Night 2017

This event is scheduled on Saturday, 19th August 2017.  The venue is St Francis High School , East Bangalore. It will be held from 10.00 pm to 1 pm. The location is St Francis High School

The Zeliangrong Bangalore is among the best  events ever encompassing  Fresher’s day, Cultural night and Foundation Day  and – all 3 together, on 19th of August. The  event will have free entry ( only on advanced booking  on the website www.eventshigh.com ). Invitation is extended to all residents of Bangalore. All are cordially invited to book the free seats available.

 The salient features  of the event are as follows:

  • Foundation day:

This is the date that ZSUB was launched on 1997, 16th August  to endeavor  voluntarily and  hard for welfare of students and their  society. The Zeliangrong Students’ Union Bangalore (ZSUB) collectively from  Manipur, Nagaland  and Assam is a non-profit and non-government organization  working hard to promote community members and well wishers.

  • Fresher’s day:

This is being organized to welcome new comers to Bangalore within a friendly ambience to prevent growth of social ills, to  promote  their creativity  and to enhance their confidence. This is the date when the juniors and seniors from Bangalore and the North East bond with each other and rally to be members  of the same college. Achievements of some seniors will be highlighted.

  • Cultural Night:

This is held to highlight and celebrate  the traditions and culture of the famous freedom fighter- Rani Gaidinliu or Ranima and her predecessors  who fought hard under  British rule. During this occasion, the norms and culture of people in the state like arts, dance, music, food, crafts, fashion, dressing style, language etc will be celebrated.

These events are being organized by the group to promote unity amongst diversity and to narrow the  cultural differences within  communities of Bangalore.
